My RPs~

Please understand that I’m a different type of RPer. The characters that I’ve created are no longer characters. They are a part of me. They have become something so much more than I thought possible. They are entities with their own thoughts, feelings, and voice. I love them dearly and I’m only here to be their vessel and tell their story. Each of them are special to me in their own way and have grown to be a very large part of my life. (I know I’m insane, sshh.) 

My Niff/Rikurt RPs:

Jeff grew up in Texas with both his parents and two siblings, Jen and Jordan. Growing up, he spent most of his time with his best friend, Nick, who he met in kindergarten. They were almost always found at his house, or their field, not too far away from where they both lived.  Nick’s parents were strick beyond anything that could be considered normal and in order to get away from it, Jeff’s family practically took him in, until, the summer just before they turned 13, Jeff moved away to Wisconsin where he spent the next four years wondering where and how his friend was doing. Time passed and Nick’s parents allowed no contact between the friends, until one day they both transferred in their junior year to Andorra Academy. Jeff, after being abused and harassed in school constantly, was given the choice to spend his last teenage years abroad, which, thankfully, he took. There, they reunited and they both fell right back into their old habits and comforts. However, Jeff kept a secret with him for all those years: He’d fallen in love with his best friend. 

Nick was a laid back guy. He was well liked and got along with most, but at home things were different. He was ignored and shut off from his parents after a tragic accident with his sister who passed away when she was seven and he eight. Growing up, he was quiet and rarely sought attention, but one day, the summer of their sixth grade year, Nick met Jeff, and since then he’d been everything that he is today. Loud, abrasive, blunt, and honest, Nick never hid his feelings well for Jeff, his straight, though did his best to cover it up with humor. Neglect getting the better of him, he moved in with Jeff and his family at a young age, witnessing Jeff’s abusive father and the hardships the family constantly struggled with. There, at Dalton Academy, do they get their home away from home, though constantly traveling back to Jeff’s house after Jeff is diagnosed with PTSD.

Riker currently lives at home with the rest of his family, constantly working out new songs for their band and hanging out with friends at night, namely Curt. However, a memory plagues him and causes him to loose sleep at night and question himself at every turn as he remembers the last day on tour. It had just been another day, but the thought of loosing his friend had overwhelmed him, the thought of loosing Curt had made him slip and he had kissed him just before their turn to hit the stage. After their performance, against everything that his gut had been screaming at him, he made a silent agreement with Curt to not speak about it again. But, every day, it gets a little harder to remain silent.
